StraighterLine Names New Leader to Expand Early Childhood Education Programs

StraighterLine has named Lynn Pitcavage as the new President and Director of its early childhood education division. The appointment comes as the company expands its services in Florida, Texas, and California to meet rising demand from educators and childcare providers.

Pitcavage brings years of experience in the sector, having led growth at Hatch Early Learning and held senior positions at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Age of Learning. She has expressed enthusiasm about joining the team to develop fresh solutions for children, families, and educators.

Before joining StraighterLine, Pitcavage served as Chief Revenue Officer at Hatch Early Learning. There, she drove the expansion of early learning technology products and market reach. Her background also includes leadership roles at well-known education firms, where she focused on blending policy, practice, and technology.

StraighterLine is now broadening its early childhood education programmes in key states. The company aims to help childcare providers earn credentials more easily and access flexible training options. CEO Matt Hulett highlighted Pitcavage’s expertise in improving outcomes for young learners through innovation.

Pitcavage herself has spoken about the opportunity to shape new solutions. She emphasised the importance of supporting educators and families with practical, forward-thinking tools.

The expansion into Florida, Texas, and California marks a significant step for StraighterLine’s early childhood division. Pitcavage’s leadership will guide the development of training programmes and credentialing pathways for providers.

Her appointment aligns with the company’s push to address growing needs in early education through technology and policy-driven strategies.
