Stewart Steeves Takes Helm as New TradePort Board Chair

Stewart Steeves has taken over as the new Chair of the TradePort Board of Directors, succeeding Col. R. Foxcroft after his 21-year tenure. A scholarship in Foxcroft's name will be established at Mohawk College, and he will continue to serve as an ambassador for Hamilton International in his new role as Chair Emeritus.

Col. Foxcroft's leadership saw Hamilton International grow significantly, becoming Canada's largest overnight express cargo hub and experiencing substantial passenger traffic growth. Stewart Steeves, who brings extensive experience in airport planning and development, has taken the helm as the new Board Chair. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Hamilton International and oversaw nearly $10 billion in redevelopment projects. Ron McKerlie, the former President of Mohawk College, has also joined the board, bringing over 35 years of experience in senior roles in the public and private sectors. Both Steeves and McKerlie expressed confidence in the expanded board's ability to carry forward TradePort's mission and advance Hamilton International's growth.

Stewart Steeves and Ron McKerlie have joined the TradePort Board of Directors, taking over from Col. R. Foxcroft who will continue to serve as Chair Emeritus. Their combined experience and expertise promise to build on the foundation laid by Foxcroft, driving Hamilton International's continued success.
