Star Singers Bring Holiday Cheer to Helios Hospital Meiningen in 2026

Helios Hospital Meiningen hosted a group of young Star Singers in 2026, part of a local fundraising campaign. The children visited the hospital to perform festive carols and collect donations for a charity initiative. Their visit brought a moment of joy to patients and staff during the holiday season.

The Star Singers arrived at the hospital as part of the ecumenical campaign organized by Meiningen’s Catholic and Protestant churches. Dressed in traditional costumes, they sang classic carols and recited verses in the wards. Many patients and staff gathered to listen, finding the performance a bright spot in their day.

As part of their tradition, the children inscribed the blessing 'C+M+B' on doorways around the hospital. This year’s campaign carried the slogan ‘School, Not Factories—Star Singing Against Child Labor’, with a focus on supporting children in Bangladesh. Medical Director PD Dr. Michael Hocke and Nursing Director Sebastian Panhans met the young singers to show their support. The hospital made a donation to the initiative, reinforcing its commitment to the cause. Both directors thanked the children for their efforts and wished them success in their fundraising work.

The Star Singers’ visit provided a festive lift to those at Helios Hospital Meiningen. Their performance and fundraising efforts highlighted the campaign’s mission to combat child labour. The hospital’s contribution added to the wider community support for the 2026 initiative.
