SPJIMR Launches Global Alumni Network for Mentorship and Career Growth
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has teamed up with digital platform Sprect to build a vast alumni advisory network. The initiative connects professionals for one-on-one video consultations, offering advice, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities. In less than two months, over 1,100 alumni from 18 countries and 650 companies have already signed up.
SPJIMR, ranked 35th globally and among India’s top three management institutes by the Financial Times, aims to strengthen its alumni network through this partnership. Sprect’s platform allows secure video calls, automated scheduling, and calendar integration, making it easier for alumni to share knowledge and expertise.
Alumni have already engaged in paid advisory sessions, free guidance calls, and pro bono consultations across different batches and programmes. Sunil Lulla, founder of The Linus Adventures and an SPJIMR graduate, highlighted the platform’s user-friendly design and effective knowledge-sharing features.
Mohit Khadaria, co-founder of Sprect, believes the network will grow into one of the most active and influential alumni communities. He expects professional connections to lead to new collaborations and career opportunities. Bhishm Chugani, Director of Career Services and Alumni Relations at SPJIMR, sees Sprect becoming a key part of the alumni experience.
The partnership has quickly gained traction, with alumni from diverse backgrounds joining the network. Sprect’s tools simplify scheduling and secure consultations, encouraging more interactions. The initiative is set to expand further, offering long-term benefits for professional growth and networking within the SPJIMR community.
