SEU Welcomes Fall 2025 Semester with Orientation Programme
Southeast University (SEU) kicked off the fall 2025 semester with an orientation programme held at the SEU Multipurpose Hall in Dhaka on Thursday. The event was presided over by Professor Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, the university's vice-chancellor.
The programme was divided into two sessions, each welcoming different departments. The inaugural session hosted students from architecture, EEE, CSE, textile engineering, and Bangla. Professor Syeda Sultana Razia, a member of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission, was the chief guest. The second session welcomed BBA, MBA, economics, and English students. Professor Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, dean of the faculty of arts at the University of Dhaka, was the chief guest for this session.
In addition to the chief guests, Professor M Mofazzal Hossain, pro-VC, and Md Anwarul Islam, registrar, addressed the students. The respective deans and department chairs also spoke at the event, providing valuable insights and guidance to the new students.
The orientation programme at SEU successfully welcomed the newly admitted students for the fall 2025 semester. It provided an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the university, meet faculty members, and gain insights into their academic journey ahead.
