Seoul Hosts 2025 ONE Asia Creative Awards Under The Five Senses Theme
Seoul has officially taken centre stage as Asia's creative capital with the launch of the 2025 ONE Asia Creative Awards. The event kicked off at the prestigious Shilla Hotel, where judges gathered to evaluate this year's entries under the theme The Five Senses of Seoul. The city's government marked the occasion with a formal certificate, welcoming The One Club for Creativity to its streets.
The judging theme invites participants to explore Seoul through its sounds, sights, flavours, textures, and scents. Local illustrator Kyungju Kim worked with The One Asia to craft minimalist black-and-white designs that blend tradition with modern creativity.
The Shilla Hotel, a venue known for hosting global summits, now plays host to creative leaders shaping the future of storytelling. Their deliberations come as the awards see a 20% rise in submissions from agencies and brands across the Asia-Pacific region. Main sponsor Black Cat White Cat Music brought the *Five Senses* theme to life with immersive experiences. Jurors received a custom fragrance, a ginseng drink, a beauty kit, a vinyl-inspired T-shirt, and a biodegradable seed welcome card. Meanwhile, Seoul's mayor, Oh Se-hoon, presented a certificate to formally recognise The One Club's presence in the city.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government has pledged to support the growth of creative industries and deepen ties with The One Club for Creativity. With record-breaking entries and a theme rooted in the city's identity, the awards highlight Seoul's expanding role as a hub for innovation and design.
