Second-chance graduates celebrate new beginnings at VHS Lünen ceremony
Fourteen graduates from Lünen Adult Education Center (VHS Lünen) have received their certificates in a ceremony at Lünen City Museum. The group earned a mix of qualifications, including basic secondary school certificates and intermediate diplomas that allow entry into upper-level Gymnasium studies. Many of these students will now move on to further education or vocational training in fields like IT, healthcare, and social services.
The graduates completed their studies through VHS Lünen’s second-chance education programme. Support from the 'Bildung & Lernen' team provided socio-educational guidance, helping them overcome prejudices along the way. Every student from this year’s basic secondary programme has chosen to continue, aiming for intermediate diplomas in the coming year.
The graduates will now enter vocational training or further studies in sectors such as IT, healthcare, and social work. Their success follows structured support and a clear pathway through VHS Lünen’s education model. The centre continues to offer opportunities for those seeking to advance their qualifications.
