Seattle Southside's 2026 Career Showcase Opens Doors for Future Talent

The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce has opened applications for the 2026 Career Showcase. Scheduled for April 30 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Businesses, non-profits, and educational institutions are now invited to take part in this career advice and small business ideas event.

The showcase aims to connect employers with the region's future workforce. Up to 1,500 students from South King County will attend, including pupils from Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, and Vashon Island school districts. These students, mostly high school juniors and seniors, will explore career pathways and opportunities using Eventbrite.

Vendor spaces are limited, and organizations can apply now to secure a spot. Sponsorship options are also available for those seeking extra visibility. The event welcomes businesses, non-profits, public agencies, colleges, and workforce development providers.

Participants will have the chance to engage directly with students eager to learn about potential careers. Over 1,000 attendees will interact with exhibitors, gaining insights into different industries and job roles.

The Career Showcase offers a platform for networking and talent discovery. Students will leave with a clearer understanding of local career options. Businesses, meanwhile, can build early connections with young professionals entering the workforce.
