School unveils IMS Ibiza Event Schedule for IMS College Domination
IMS Ibiza, the renowned music summit taking place from 27-29 April 2022, is set to host a series of workshops and masterclasses in collaboration with Beatport and Microsoft Surface. The event promises an array of sessions led by dance industry luminaries, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to learn from the best.
The workshops will take place at the IMS Ibiza event, offering a mix of conferences, panels, and networking events focusing on topics such as the future of global nightlife, health and wellbeing, diversity, and social media in music.
One of the highlights includes a workshop with Blanka Nova, a vocalist DJ and a lecturer at the school, who will lead a session on preparing and performing a live session with vocals for DJs and Singers on Friday at 14:00-15:45. The workshop will feature Pioneer DJ Equipment and Rekordbox 6.
Anna Lakatos, a lecturer and Ableton Certified Trainer at the school, will lead a workshop on creating instruments with sampling and processing on Wednesday at 13:00-13:45.
Prospa, a DJ/Producer duo, will lead a production masterclass on Friday at 15:00-15:45. The Prospa masterclass will include a track breakdown of their hit 'Ecstasy' and answers to questions about their music production processes.
Thomas Irwin, from Dharma/Spinnin/Sony, will lead a workshop on combining organic sounds with electronic music using FL Studio on Friday at 16:00-16:45.
Andres Bretel, also from the school, will lead a workshop on committing to a sound and creating difference in a world where everyone uses the same tools on Friday at 12:00-12:45.
The school, in partnership with Beatport and Microsoft Surface, offers a variety of free sounds, plugins, online course samples, and tutorials upon registration. Registration with the school grants access to a range of exclusive music-making tools and content on the Free Stuff page.
