SCC's chief waste management officer, Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Mohammad Eklim Abdin, environment department's Sylhet office director Md Ferdous Anwar, and SNV cluster coordinator Rahima Begum attended the event. SCC CEO Mohammad Rezai Rafin Sarker chaired the programme. The 'We dispose of waste correctly, we build a safe Sylhet' campaign runs for a month, aiming to improve solid waste and sewage management.
