Deegan engineered the pie crust cookie as an off-the-cuff request from her now-fiancé. The initial response was so positive that she knew she had to focus on it. Deegan is now considering phasing out custom cakes and holiday pies to focus solely on the pie crust cookie. This decision comes after gaining confidence to expand her business following half of her orders coming from strangers through Facebook.
