Russia’s ‘I Am a Professional’ Olympiad Draws Record 215,000 Students

The ninth season of the All-Russian Student Olympiad 'I Am a Professional' has concluded, with a record-breaking 215,515 participants from 1,099 Russian universities and branches registering. This year's event, held under the 'Russia - Land of Opportunities' platform, saw an increased focus on career development and professional growth.

Over 215,000 students, including 5,084 from universities in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, applied to participate. The Olympiad, which brings together the most talented and driven students each year, has expanded its offerings to 70 disciplines this season. Key features include access to internships, job openings, career counseling, and training programs, as highlighted by Valeria Kasamara, Head of the I Am a Professional Olympiad.

Andrey Betin, Director General of the presidential platform and Rector of the Senezh Management Workshop, thanked participants and encouraged their involvement. The qualifying round for the ninth season is set for November 14 to December 1, with winners and medalists set to receive significant benefits.

The Olympiad is implemented with support from Russia’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education. With a strong showing from Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and an enhanced career development component, the ninth season of the All-Russian Student Olympiad 'I Am a Professional' is poised to foster professional growth and opportunity among Russia's university students.
