Russia’s Brightest Young Minds Honored in Landmark Scholarship Ceremony
A prestigious ceremony at Kuban State University honoured young scientists and researchers from across Russia. The event marked the first time the "Scholar of Russia: Course for the Future" programme was held across all federal districts. High-ranking officials, including the presidential representative for the Southern Federal District and the Krasnodar governor, attended to present awards and recognise academic excellence.
The programme, organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, awarded scholarships to outstanding students. Winners receive 30,000 rubles monthly from the President or 20,000 rubles from the Government. Among the laureates were 185 students from Kuban universities, a figure highlighted by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev as proof of the region’s strong educational standards.
The new scholarships will support talented young people in key sectors of the economy and science. With continued investment in education and research, the region aims to foster further breakthroughs. The programme’s expansion across federal districts signals broader opportunities for Russia’s next generation of scientists.
