Russia’s *Big Change* contest kicks off with 600 vocational students competing in Nizhny Novgorod
The final of the Big Change contest for vocational education students has begun in Nizhny Novgorod. Over 600 participants from 63 regions of Russia are now competing in challenges and an educational programme at Sovcombank Arena Stadium. This year’s theme, From Dream to Achievement, ties into national commemorations, including the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The contest is part of the Youth and Children national project, backed by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The Bolshaya Peremena initiative, organised by the Movement of the First, also receives support from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
The contest aims to recognise and support vocational students across Russia. Winners will gain financial backing for their studies and projects, while their institutions will receive funding for development. The event also reinforces national themes of heritage and achievement.
