Roßtal's Free CPR Training 'Presses' Empowers Lifesavers

The Roßtal First Aid Squad of the Bavarian Red Cross is hosting a free, open CPR training event, 'Roßtal Presses', from October 21 to 25, 2025. The initiative aims to empower more people to confidently intervene in emergencies involving sudden cardiac arrest.

Many people refrain from providing first aid due to uncertainty and fear of making mistakes. However, even a few minutes without chest compression can lead to permanent brain damage. The 'Roßtal Presses' action aims to change this by showing that anyone can help in an emergency, even without medical knowledge.

The training sessions will be led by experienced personnel from the Bavarian Red Cross and will take place at Wilhelm-Löhe-Straße 17a in Roßtal. No registration is required, and participation is free. Sessions will run from Tuesdays to Fridays, 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

By learning chest compression during 'Roßtal Presses', participants can gain the confidence to act promptly in an emergency. The initiative seeks to create a relaxed atmosphere, making it easier for laypeople to understand the simplicity and importance of their actions. The Bavarian Red Cross hopes that more people will feel empowered to save lives after attending these sessions.
