Swing Left, a prominent political organization, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Political Program Manager to join their team. This full-time, remote position based in the United States, with candidates based in Washington, D.C. strongly preferred, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the organization's political priorities.
Role and Responsibilities
The Political Program Manager will be responsible for managing cross-team collaboration, fostering relationships with targeted campaigns, coordinating volunteer and financial support, and leading the execution of political events. Key duties include collaborating with organizing teams, maintaining campaign and partner communication, coordinating PAC contribution disbursement, drafting political materials, and ensuring internal alignment on campaign objectives.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should demonstrate a strong alignment with Swing Left’s mission, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, exhibit a strong attention to detail, and be proficient with tools like Google Suite, Slack, Asana, and Zoom. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of campaigns, political dynamics, and the congressional battlefield, and be able to work outside of business hours when needed.
Compensation & Working Hours
The pay range for this position is $71,000 - $76,000/year. Employees are expected to be available for meetings and asynchronous collaboration during normal business hours, and sometimes outside of these hours for events or other peak moments. Swing Left offers an unlimited time-off policy and a flexible medical and parental leave policy.
Benefits
The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% premium paid for employees and 50% for dependents. Health and dependent care FSA accounts are also offered. Employer-paid life and disability insurance is provided, and a retirement (401k) plan is available. The office is closed for approximately 25 business days each year (including federal holidays).
