RMSD’s 37th Annual Day Celebrates Empowerment Through Inclusive Education

Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) recently held its 37th Annual Day Celebrations. The main event highlighted the school’s long-standing commitment to empowerment and inclusive education, bringing together students, parents, and officials for an evening of performances and recognition.

The celebrations began with an inauguration by Sri Nataraj S., Joint Director of the Directorate for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens. He commended RMSD for fostering independence and dignity, particularly among visually impaired girls.

Dr. Ashoka D.R., K.A.S, Director of the same directorate, addressed the gathering online. His speech reinforced the importance of education in transforming lives. A technology-enabled skit performed by differently abled students became the centrepiece of the event. The cultural programme also included classical dance, folk performances, martial arts displays, skits, and multilingual medleys. Mr. R. Guru, Chairman of NR Foundation, spoke about the school’s mission to empower and uplift its students. The evening’s theme revolved around resilience, inclusion, and the life-changing impact of education.

The 37th Annual Day Celebrations at RMSD reinforced the school’s dedication to inclusive learning. Through performances and speeches, the event showcased how education and empowerment continue to shape the lives of differently abled students.
