REV Theatre Company brings Amelia Earhart’s story to life for young students

The REV Theatre Company recently captivated fifth graders at Cato-Meridian Elementary School with a live performance of Amelia Earhart's story. The interactive show, part of the company's comprehensive arts education program, brought theatre to students and sparked their creativity.

The performance, enjoyed by students like Deegan Garrigan who described it as 'really creative', used everyday objects to bring Amelia Earhart's adventures to life. An airplane crafted from simple items took the audience on a journey, demonstrating the company's imaginative approach to storytelling.

Educators praised the production. Danielle Mahoney highlighted the program's accessibility, bringing theatre to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Fallon Morris, a Cato-Meridian teacher, appreciated the message of determination and following dreams that the performance conveyed.

The REV Theatre Company offers 13 different grade-appropriate programs aligned with New York State curriculum, providing a well-rounded arts education. These programs aim to entertain and educate, fostering a love for the arts and inspiring students to pursue their dreams. Approximately 60,000 students across 68 school districts will participate in these programs throughout the school year.

The REV Theatre Company's performance at Cato-Meridian Elementary School was more than just a show; it was an immersive learning experience. Through imaginative storytelling and accessible programming, the company is inspiring a love for the arts in thousands of students across New York State.
