Rethink Education: RWTH Aachen & City of Aachen Host Event on Oct 28

RWTH Aachen University and the City of Aachen are hosting an event on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the historic town hall hall. The 'University at City Hall' series, organized by Aachen’s Office of Science and RWTH Aachen University, welcomes all to explore the future of education. The event coincides with the launch of RWTH Aachen's new primary school teaching degree program this winter semester.

Marie Ludwig (funk & WDR) will moderate the discussion, which will delve into making schools more open, digital, and equitable. The panelists include Prof. Dr. Dominik Farrenberg, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christian Timo Zenke, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sven Kommer, and Ilona Orlikowski. They will explore the role of teachers in this transformation and the need for new learning spaces, greater digital opportunities, and different teaching methods.

Admission to the event is free, and no registration is required. More information can be found at www.ourwebsite.de/uni_at_city_hall. The RSS feed for press releases is available at https://www.ourwebsite.de/rss-feed-press-releases/rss.xml.
