Reply and Mistral AI Launch Partnership for Tailored AI Solutions

Reply and Mistral AI have formed a strategic partnership to develop secure, customizable AI solutions for businesses, with a focus on data sovereignty, compliance, and deployment in highly regulated sectors. An initial project already demonstrates concrete applications.

The IT services provider Reply will collaborate with AI specialist Mistral AI to create generative AI solutions tailored to companies facing stringent regulatory demands.

At the heart of the partnership is the development of sovereign AI systems, designed to allow businesses to leverage advanced language models while maintaining full control over their data. Processing will take place on European infrastructure, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.

The joint solutions primarily target organizations in heavily regulated fields, including public administration, financial services, healthcare, and energy and telecommunications providers.

Technically, the partnership combines Mistral AI's language models with Reply's expertise in adapting large language models (LLMs) to enterprise-specific data. The applications are intended to integrate seamlessly into existing IT environments, enhancing business processes and decision-making.

"By linking Mistral AI's ecosystem with Reply's experience in developing bespoke AI solutions for specific business processes, we empower companies to deploy secure, controllable models. These are designed to ensure data sovereignty and privacy, integrate smoothly into existing workflows, and scale reliably within corporate architectures," said Filippo Rizzante, CTO of Reply, regarding the new collaboration.

A key focus lies in model customization. As part of the partnership, Reply will serve as the global launch partner for Mistral Forge, a platform enabling targeted training of AI models on complex, domain-specific datasets.

Marjorie Janiewicz, Chief Revenue Officer of Mistral AI, added: "Together, we support businesses in implementing AI solutions that precisely meet their performance, control, and customization needs."

The partners' first joint project involves the Austrian Academy of Sciences, aiming to develop a specialized language model for Greek texts spanning multiple historical periods.

The model draws from an extensive corpus, including ancient literature, inscriptions, papyri, and modern scholarly works. It is designed to assist researchers in text search, reconstruction, and analysis.

This partnership reflects a broader shift in the enterprise AI market—away from generic, cloud-based models toward more controllable, adaptable solutions. In Europe, data sovereignty is becoming increasingly critical.

For Reply, the collaboration strengthens its position as an integrator of customized AI applications. Mistral AI, meanwhile, expands the reach of its models in corporate settings.

For businesses, the decisive factor will be whether the promised benefits—security, compliance, seamless integration, performance, and clear economic value—hold up in practice.
