Rajasthan Class 8 results out: 97.01% pass with girls leading the way
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the Class 8 exam results, showing a strong performance across the state. Out of 1,286,220 students, 1,245,735 passed, achieving an overall success rate of 97.01%. Girls outperformed boys, with 97.57% passing compared to 96.52%. Students can now check their scores on the Rajasthan Shala Darpan portal. By entering their roll number and district details, they gain access to individual results. The board requires at least 33% in each subject and overall to pass, with a grade of 'D' or higher considered successful.
A total of 38,276 students have been placed in the supplementary category. These pupils did not meet the passing criteria but will receive another opportunity to improve their marks. The grading system allows for reattempts, ensuring students can still progress.
The results reflect a consistent trend in Rajasthan's education system. Annual pass rates for Class 8 exams have remained high, typically between 90% and 95% over the past five years. However, exact aggregated figures for 2021–2025 are not publicly available, as official RBSE data would be required for precise totals. The RBSE Class 8 exams once again demonstrate a high success rate, with nearly all students passing. Those in the supplementary list will have a chance to retake exams and secure their qualification. The results remain accessible through the Shala Darpan portal for all registered candidates.
