Radebeul Job Fair Opens Doors to Local Careers on February 28
A new training and job fair will take place in Radebeul at the end of February. The event aims to connect job seekers with local employers and training providers. Around 50 exhibitors from different industries will offer opportunities for apprenticeships, internships, and direct employment.
The Radebeul Job Fair will open its doors on February 28 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The venue is the Meissen-Radebeul Vocational Training Center at Straße des Friedens 58. Admission is free, and no prior registration is needed.
Mayor Bert Wendsche will officially start the event with a welcome speech. After the opening, attendees can explore the stands, speak directly with company representatives, and receive personalised advice. Businesses will showcase real job vacancies and training positions, giving visitors a chance to make professional contacts.
The fair is a joint effort by the Radebeul city administration, the Meissen district job center, the Federal Employment Agency, and the Meissen-Radebeul Vocational Training Center. Organisers hope to boost the regional workforce by encouraging direct conversations between employers and potential employees. Previous similar events, like the annual 'Radebeul Job Fair' have also attracted around 50 exhibitors each year.
The event is open to students, graduates, job seekers, career re-entrants, and anyone considering a career change. Whether looking for an apprenticeship, a dual-study programme, or a full-time job, attendees will find a range of options to explore.
The fair provides a platform for face-to-face discussions between employers and job seekers. Companies will present immediate job openings and training slots, while visitors can gather information and network. The event supports the region's goal of strengthening its skilled labour force through direct engagement.
