Proudly Represent Kuwait Overseas, Encourages Lamia Al-Mulhim to Students

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Kuwait is bolstering its support for students seeking scholarships and international education with the third phase of its "Guide Me" campaign, also known as "Wajihni" in Arabic.

Undersecretary of the Ministry, Lamia Al-Mulhim, led a meeting today with representatives from the Ministries of Interior and Endowments, and members of the Student Guidance and Awareness Department. The gathering aimed to prepare students for the upcoming 2025/2026 foreign scholarship program.

The "Guide Me" campaign offers a range of services to students, from technical assistance during the registration process to orientation sessions after acceptance. The initiative aims to simplify scholarship registration procedures and provide students with the necessary information to make well-informed decisions.

One of the key features of the campaign is its technical assistance, offering help to students who face difficulties in uploading required documents or arranging preferences during registration. This support is crucial, ensuring accurate data and successful registration within deadlines.

Once students are accepted into the scholarship program, the campaign offers orientation sessions to guide them through the next steps. These sessions are designed to inform students about the necessary actions after acceptance and prepare them for studying abroad.

Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, conveyed greetings and congratulations to the students through Al-Mulhim. Al-Mulhim commended the dedication of ministry staff and cultural office personnel, who work tirelessly to ensure students have the resources they need to succeed throughout their educational journey.

Al-Mulhim also praised the "Guide Me" campaign for its positive and measurable impact on students' educational decisions. The campaign aids students and their families in making informed decisions by providing them with the necessary information and resources. This support helps in fostering a sense of responsibility and preparedness among students who will represent Kuwait abroad.

In her speech, Al-Mulhim expressed deep gratitude to the students' families for their unwavering support and trust in state institutions. She encouraged the students to be proud ambassadors of Kuwait, upholding their values, striving for excellence, and returning equipped to serve their nation and contribute to its progress.

Al-Mulhim reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting students academically, culturally, and morally through its cultural offices abroad. She highlighted the orientation meeting as a key awareness initiative for students' academic journey.

The "Guide Me" campaign plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience and promoting national development. By supporting students in obtaining scholarships and studying abroad, the campaign helps in developing a more skilled and internationally experienced workforce. This, in turn, can contribute to the advancement of various sectors in Kuwait, aligning with the country's broader development goals. The campaign's focus on empowering students as ambassadors of Kuwait abroad also promotes cultural exchange and national representation on an international level.

As the students prepare to study at world-renowned universities in cutting-edge fields, the "Guide Me" campaign stands ready to support them every step of the way.

The "Guide Me" campaign, beyond its focus on education and self-development, also extends its services to broader topics such as politics and general news. For instance, the campaign keeps students informed about international political climate and trends that could potentially affect their studies or living conditions abroad. Additionally, it provides guidance on general news, helping students stay updated and well-informed, fostering a sense of global awareness among them.
