Announcement: Nature Experience Garden Fuchsfarm Unveils Immersive Workshops, Seminars, and Celebrations
Since 1994, the municipal environmental education facility, Nature Experience Garden Fuchsfarm, has opened its extensive grounds to visitors seeking to learn about and appreciate nature. The stunning locale, hosting an orchard, bee meadow, organic garden, ponds, willow dome, and hornbeam maze, invites guests to linger and savor the surroundings.
This enchanting facility is not just limited to visitors; it can also be reserved as a venue for nature-focused workshops, seminars, and celebrations. Remarkably, admission remains complimentary.
In 2018, Fuchsfarm was bestowed with the Thuringian Quality Seal for Education for Sustainable Development, affirming its status as an exemplary extracurricular learning site. The seal was re-certified for another five years in 2021.
In continuation of its commitment to environmental education, Fuchsfarm has scheduled a series of engaging events in the upcoming months. The workshops, seminars, and celebrations cater to a diverse range of interests, fostering an engaging and individualized learning experience.
Workshops

Two seminars are in the works. The first, slated for June 19, 2025, discusses sustainable gardening practices that promote biodiversity and soil health. The second, planned for July 10, 2025, focuses on the integral role of pollinators like bees and butterflies, as well as strategies for creating pollinator-friendly habitats.
Celebrations
A Summer Solstice Celebration will be held on June 23, 2025, offering attendees an evening filled with music, storytelling, and rituals designed to honor the longest day of the year. Additionally, a Planting for Pollinators Festival is planned for July 20, 2025. During this event, participants will partake in communal planting activities and workshops specifically geared towards bolstering pollinator populations within the garden.
