Promka Transforms Career Guidance with Interactive Events and Industry Tours
Promka, a career guidance initiative, has grown rapidly over the past two years. What began as a local project in Krasnoyarsk Krai is now a major ecosystem connecting education, business, and government. Its interactive approach helps young people develop entrepreneurial skills through games, events near me, and real-world industry exposure.
Since its launch, Promka has engaged over 200,000 participants, including schoolchildren, students, and educators. The programme organises a wide range of activities, from quizzes and hackathons to film-based lessons and workshops. These events are designed to make career exploration hands-on and engaging.
One of Promka's standout features is its industrial tours, with around 500 visits arranged for audiences as young as eight. Nearly 40 companies have partnered with the initiative, offering direct insights into different professions. The programme also publishes an industrial magazine tailored for elementary school students.
Promka's influence has extended beyond events and tours. Its educational materials are now mandatory in school career guidance sessions across participating regions. Recognised as an effective tool for bridging education and industry, the project is preparing to expand beyond Krasnoyarsk Krai in the near future.
Promka's model has gained traction as a practical way to introduce young people to career opportunities. With a growing network of partners and a broad range of activities, the initiative continues to shape career guidance in Russia. Its expansion plans suggest further reach in the coming years.
