Pokrovsk School No. 3 trains 120 teachers with Sirius to boost innovation
Pokrovsk School No. 3, in collaboration with Sirius Educational Center, recently held a training session for educators. The event, attended by 120 teachers from across Russia, focused on enhancing teaching methods and integrating innovative educational initiatives.
The training, held as part of the school's inclusion in Sirius's network of associated schools, saw 120 educators, including five from Pokrovsk School No. 3, gain expertise in organizing project-based learning and using specialized project management tools. They also explored fostering network collaboration within Sirius's programs.
The teachers familiarized themselves with various Sirius educational initiatives such as Sirius.Summer, Lessons of the Present, Sirius.Artificial Intelligence, and the nationwide Big Challenges competition. The mentor guiding Pokrovsk's teachers during the training in Sochi was Anna Ivanova. Upon returning, mathematics teacher Roza Sleptsova brought back concrete tools for school projects and skills in working with Sirius's initiatives, along with a clear understanding of building network partnerships.
Pokrovsk School No. 3's director, Vladislav Kapitonov, sees partnering with the federal Sirius Educational Center as a strategic move to improve educational quality. The school remains committed to advancing STEM and technology education, with teacher training programs being a key aspect of this effort.
