Playful Brain-Training Lecture Explores Life Kinetik's Cognitive Benefits

A free lecture on Life Kinetik, a playful brain-training method, will take place on March 14, 2026, at the Rur-Eifel Adult Education Center. The event, titled 'Building Life Skills Through Play: Fun Over Pressure in School!', will run from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the center's Violengasse location. Attendees will learn how the approach blends movement, perception, and thinking exercises to boost brain function in both children and adults.

Life Kinetik has already made its way into some German schools, including Gymnasium Schloss Overhagen in North Rhine-Westphalia. There, teachers incorporate its exercises into sports lessons to help students stay focused during long school days. The method is also used in professional settings, such as auditing training at KBW in 2026, and in community fitness programmes like those in Aichwald.

Research suggests that the technique can improve concentration, emotional resilience, coordination, and self-confidence in children. The lecture will break down how these benefits work, what science says about them, and how parents, teachers, and coaches can apply the exercises in daily life.

The session costs €10 per person. Those interested can register online at www.vhs-rur-eifel.de or by filling out a form at the center. Questions can be directed to the organisers by phone at +49 2421 25-2577 or via email at [email protected].

The one-hour lecture offers a chance to explore a method already in use at select schools and workplaces. Participants will leave with practical knowledge on how movement-based training can support learning and development. Registration remains open until the event date.
