Pearson honors 736 top students at Dhaka’s 12th Outstanding Learner Awards
The 12th Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards took place in Dhaka on 22 November 2025. The ceremony, organized by Pearson Edexcel and the British Council, celebrated 736 students for their exceptional exam results. Among them, 24 secured the world’s highest marks, while four topped Asia in their subjects.
This year’s awards recognized students across four categories: 21 in international primary, one in lower secondary, 456 in GCSE, and 183 in A-levels. A total of 41 achieved the highest scores in Bangladesh for their respective examinations. Since its launch in 2012, the event has honored over 8,000 high-achieving learners.
The ceremony highlighted the achievements of students who excelled in international exams. Their success reflects the growing opportunities for Bangladeshi learners to pursue education abroad. The awards continue to inspire academic excellence and ambition among young scholars.
