Online parent-teacher meeting tackles child development and digital risks on November 27

A regional parent-teacher meeting titled 'From Success in School to Success in Life!' will take place online on November 27. The event, hosted by the Sfera centre’s VKontakte group, will feature two separate sessions for parents of different age groups.

The first session, running from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, is aimed at parents of preschoolers and children in grades 1–5. Galina Smirnova, director of the LADA Family Center, will offer advice on protecting young children from the negative effects of gadgets. Natalya Grishina, head of epidemiological surveillance at Nizhny Novgorod’s Rospotrebnadzor, will discuss preventing infectious diseases in children’s groups. Tatyana Koldashova, head of the nonprofit CHUDO SAMA, will speak on the role of parents in shaping a child’s personality.

The meeting will be held entirely online via the Sfera centre’s VKontakte group. Organisers have arranged both a live broadcast and a recorded version for those unable to attend in real time. Parents and educators will receive practical advice on supporting children’s development and well-being.
