Collecting Registration Certificates from the Nepal Health Professional Council

The Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) has announced the distribution of registration certificates for various medical and health courses. Here's what you need to know about the requirements and distribution dates.

Requirements for Registration Certificate Collection

To collect registration certificates, applicants need to meet certain requirements. For Nepali students, a valid registration certificate from the respective Council of Nepal is essential, along with a Nepali citizenship certificate or national identity card. Foreign students, on the other hand, require a valid Specialist Certificate from their respective Medical Council and a passport or e-Aadhaar Card.

Educational documents such as transcripts and certificates of the relevant degree (postgraduate when applicable), with equivalency certificates if the study is from a foreign institution, are also required. For government service candidates, additional documents like study leave or pre-approval letters from the Ministry of Health, experience certificates, proof of work in remote areas, and bond completion certificates (if completed studies under government scholarship) may be necessary.

All documents should be in clear, JPEG or PDF format, with a maximum size of 200 KB for JPEGs and 500 KB for PDFs.

Distribution Dates for Registration Certificates

Registration certificates will be distributed on several dates: 2061/04/03, 2061/04/04, 2059/08/04, and 2061/04/08.

On 2059/08/04, registration certificates will be distributed for Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology students, Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) students, Bachelor of Science in Medical/Clinical Biochemistry (BSc Bio) students, Bachelor of Science in Medical/Clinical Microbiology (BSc Micro) students, Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Technology students, Bachelor of Audiology Speech and Hearing Language Pathology (BASLP) students.

On 2061/04/03, registration certificates will be distributed for MPT, MPH, M. Optometry, M.Sc. MIT, MASLP, and M.Sc. Medical/Clinical Biochemistry students.

On 2061/04/04, registration certificates will be distributed for BPH students from 11-A1-PH to 11-A848-PH, BPT students, B. Optometry students, B.Sc. MLT students, BNYS students, Bachelor in Anaesthesia (AT) students, B.Sc. Renal Dialysis Technology students.

On 2061/04/08, registration certificates will be distributed for PCL in General Medicine students, PCL in Medical Laboratory Technology students, PCL in Ophthalmology (OPT) students, PCL in Physiotherapy (CPT) students, PCL in OT Technician students, PCL in Dialysis Technology students, PCL in Diagnostic Radiography (PCL RD) students, PCL in Dental Hygiene (DH) students, PCL in Acupuncture, Acupressure, and Moxibustion (ACCU) students.

Additional Requirements

Candidates are required to bring their original certificates to the Council on their designated date to collect their certificates. A photocopy and original of the admission card from the registration examination conducted by the Council is also required.

For students who studied abroad, notarized photocopies are necessary, and these should be placed in a record file with the originals in a clear bag. For students who studied in Nepal, "True Copy" should be written on the back of each photocopy, signed, and placed in a record file with the originals in a clear bag.

The original bank voucher and original receipt for the examination fee and registration fee are also required. A passport-sized photo, which was used during the online form submission, is not forgotten.

Applicants gathering registration certificates from the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) must present a valid registration certificate from their respective council, along with a Nepali citizenship certificate or national identity card for Nepali students, and a Specialist Certificate from their respective Medical Council and a passport or e-Aadhaar Card for foreign students.
