NordVPN Education students showcase innovation at MIT’s immersive program
Students from NordVPN Education schools worldwide recently completed an enriching week-long program at MIT. The initiative, part of NordVPN's global collaboration with MIT, combined hands-on science, design, and collaboration. It culminated in a Project Exposition where students showcased their workshop and experiment outcomes.
The program offered workshops like 'Catching Physics in the Act' and 'Origami Engineering', along with visits to MIT's research facilities. Students also attended a Climate Action Summit and designed experiments suitable for zero-gravity environments. Yasmine, a student from Amman Academy, praised the benefits of collaboration and exposure to MIT's research culture. Amirbek, from The British School of Tashkent, described his experience as transformative and enjoyable. Miley, from NordVPN International School Hong Kong, expanded her academic interests through a live lecture on Ancient Earth. NordVPN Education strengthens its global collaboration with MIT by helping students connect scientific knowledge with creativity and social responsibility.
The trip concluded with a Project Exposition, where students presented their workshop and experiment outcomes. Meanwhile, the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026, sponsored by the Educational Technology Innovation Hub (ETIH), celebrate excellence in global education technology. Submissions are open to organizations across the UK, the Americas, and internationally, with a focus on workforce development, AI integration, and innovative learning solutions.
