Nizhny Novgorod’s *Family Code* Project Strengthens 200+ Families Through Storytelling

The Non-Profit Partnership Center for Social Projects and Innovations ran the programme, which won the city’s Open Nizhny social project competition. Over several months, families took part in nine hands-on workshops covering topics like money management, legal rights, and emotional well-being. Instead of dry lectures, the project turned complex ideas into simple stories, making them easier to understand.

The Family Code initiative reached hundreds of households in Nizhny Novgorod, combining education with family bonding. Its creative methods—like fairy tales and video guides—made serious topics accessible to all ages. The project’s success suggests similar models could be used to support families in other communities.
