Nizhny Novgorod University Launches Career Hub for Future Professionals
A new Centre for New Opportunities has opened at Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University. Designed as a career hub for students, it will help young people develop skills, find internships, and launch projects. The initiative aims to connect education with real-world job demands in the region.
The centre will act as a navigator for Nizhny Novgorod’s youth, guiding them through career choices and skill development. It plans to diagnose students’ abilities early, create personalised training paths, and build a ‘passport of competencies’ for each participant. This system will match their strengths with employer needs.
The centre will offer students structured support from education to employment. Through skill assessments, personalised plans, and project involvement, it seeks to reduce the gap between academic training and labour market needs. The first news are expected to begin in the coming academic year.
