Nizhny Novgorod Oblast prepares for transparent state final exams in 2024
This year, more than 12,500 eleventh-graders and over 34,500 ninth-graders in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast are expected to take the Unified State Exam (USE) and the Basic State Exam (BSE), respectively, according to the regional Ministry of Education.
At a recent meeting on preparations for the state final exams, the focus was on organizing the testing process, with particular emphasis on creating a comfortable and secure environment for graduates.
Transparency in all procedures was highlighted as a top priority. The rules and steps involved must be clearly communicated in advance to all participants—from students and their parents to exam site administrators. Schools and practice tests are being used to ensure students are fully informed about every detail.
On May 14, a nationwide practice USE will be held for graduates ahead of the main exam period. This will allow students not only to assess their knowledge but also to familiarize themselves with the procedure, helping them feel more confident on the actual test day.
Earlier, pravda-nn.ru reported that a dedicated online simulator for USE preparation had been launched on the Gosuslugi public services portal.
