Nizhny Novgorod Celebrates Young Creatives in The World Through Children's Eyes
A major children's art exhibition will open in Nizhny Novgorod on February 27. Titled The World Through Children's Eyes, the event showcases creative works from thousands of young participants. The show runs until March 15 at the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum.
The competition began with over 7,000 children taking part in the preliminary round. From these, 2,066 advanced to the district level, and 188 works were chosen as finalists. A professional jury will select the winners, with an awards ceremony scheduled for March 1.
The exhibition is organised by the V.P. Chkalov Palace of Children's Creativity, the Nizhny Novgorod City Department of Education, and the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum. Its goal is to support young artists and educators while encouraging the moral and spiritual growth of the younger generation.
Visitors can expect a diverse collection of sincere and imaginative artwork. Each piece offers a fresh, heartfelt perspective on the world, created entirely by children.
The event highlights the creativity of young artists across the city. Winners will be announced on March 1, following the jury's review. The exhibition remains open to the public until March 15.
