NIFTEE 2026 admit cards out: Key details before the February speed test
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for NIFTEE 2026, the entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes. Candidates can now download their hall tickets from the official website before the speed test on February 8, 2026.
The NIFTEE 2026 exam will take place in two shifts across various centres nationwide. Aspirants must check their admit cards for the exact reporting time and shift details, as late arrivals will not be permitted.
The exam structure includes two parts: a computer-based General Ability Test (GAT) and a pen-and-paper Creative Ability Test (CAT). No electronic devices, calculators, or study materials will be allowed inside the exam hall.
To access the admit card, candidates must log in to the official NTA NIFTEE portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee using their application number and password or date of birth. A printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID are mandatory for entry.
The test covers admissions for undergraduate courses like BDes and BFTech, as well as postgraduate programmes such as MDes, MFM, and MFTech. However, specific details on postgraduate admission requirements remain unavailable beyond the existing bachelor's programme criteria.
The NIFTEE 2026 exam is set for February 8, 2026, with strict entry rules in place. Candidates must carry their admit card and ID proof to avoid disqualification. Results will determine admissions for both undergraduate and postgraduate design courses.
