New 'Pflege-Scouts' Course in October 2025: Supporting Employees Dealing with Care and Work
A new training course, 'Care Scouts in the Company', is set to take place in October 2025, organized by Kathryn Hahn and Markus Radwansky, the seniors' representatives of the city and district of Bamberg. This course is open to works councils, personnel managers, and interested employees from various companies.
The course aims to support employees dealing with care and work, benefiting businesses, social facilities, and organizations. It will equip participants with basic knowledge about care dependency, care insurance services, employer tasks, and local support offers. The goal is to create 'Care Scouts' within companies, acting as guides and first points of contact for colleagues facing care situations. With nearly one in five employed persons in Germany already caring for relatives, this training is highly relevant. The course fee is 65 Euro, inclusive of food and drinks, and participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
Registration is possible via the vhs portal: https://www.vhs-bamberg.de/p/programmbereiche/vortraege-veranstaltungen-studienreisen/ausbildung-zum-pflege-scout-502-C-8913604
