University of Southampton Appoints Rory Miles as Principal Enterprise Fellow

The University of Southampton has announced the appointment of Rory Miles as Principal Enterprise Fellow at their startup accelerator. This role is crucial in providing experienced leadership, mentorship, and strategic business growth for the accelerator.

As a Principal Enterprise Fellow, Rory Miles will be primarily focused on opportunities for an expansion of the startup accelerator's proven processes. His role is central to the long-term growth of the accelerator, aiming to drive strategic business growth to increase its scale, reach, and impact.

Rory Miles brings a wealth of experience to the table, having worked with researchers, funding bodies, industry, and innovators across multiple sectors. His most recent role was Innovation Programme Manager for Southern Water.

The startup accelerator's startups and spinouts have collectively raised over £78m in investment, and currently support startups and spinouts that employ over 380 people.
