New EdTech Award Celebrates Schools Transforming Learning Through Technology

A new award category is now open for schools and the department of education that have effectively used technology in teaching. The 'Best Use of EdTech in Schools and Further Education' recognizes institutions making a measurable difference through digital tools. Entries will be judged on real-world impact, not just innovation.

The award celebrates institutions that have improved classroom practice, student experience, or operational efficiency through technology. Strong submissions must show clear evidence of success, including case studies, before-and-after comparisons, and quantitative data. Scalability and practical delivery will also be key factors in the judging process.

Entries are free for schools and colleges, but vendors cannot apply. An independent panel of experts—spanning school leadership, further education, pedagogy, and EdTech—will review each submission. Their assessment will focus on how well the technology was implemented and the extent of improvements in student engagement, outcomes, and staff feedback. The deadline for entries is Friday, 27 March 2026. A shortlist will be announced on Tuesday, 2 April 2026, with the winners revealed on Monday, 27 April 2026.

This category gives institutions a chance to gain recognition from educators, policymakers, and sector leaders. Successful entries will demonstrate thoughtful, evidence-led use of technology in education. The awards aim to highlight practical achievements that others in the sector can learn from.
