New Children’s Book *The Mysterious Sea* Brings Busch’s Heritage to Life
A new children’s book titled The Mysterious Sea is set to captivate young readers in Buscher schools and kindergartens. Written by Birgit Wilms, the book introduces children to the history and culture of Busch in an engaging manner. The project is fully backed by the Sparkassen Foundation in the Rhine-Kreis Neuss and will be distributed as a free gift to local children.
Approximately 5,500 copies of the book are currently being bound and will be distributed at no cost, thanks to the Sparkassen Foundation and supporting sponsors. To make the book accessible beyond Busch, the story has been translated into French, Japanese, Ukrainian, and English for partner cities and friendly cities.
The book and accompanying competition aim to connect young readers with Busch’s heritage in a fun and creative way. Once distribution commences, every child in participating schools and kindergartens will receive a copy. The Sparkassen Foundation’s initiative ensures the project remains free for all families involved.
