The 'Ladya' club is equipped to accommodate up to 20 children at a time, boasting ten specialized tables and modern equipment, including 'smart' chess with artificial intelligence. Governor Gleb Nikitin expressed gratitude to Chairman of RVIO Vladimir Medinsky for supporting the project, though the specific financial backers remain unclear.

The club's coaches highlighted the benefits of chess, noting it aids in developing self-discipline, goal-orientedness, and stress resistance. Vladimir Medinsky presented the club with author's sets of books 'Collectors of the Russian Land', emphasizing the significance of chess as an intellectual sport that teaches strategic thinking and decision-making. Gleb Nikitin acknowledged the achievements of Nizhny Novgorod chess players and the importance of the new club for further development and popularization of the sport.
