New appointments at Park University's Gilbert Campus: Wilcox and Zibers stepping into leadership positions

Park University Appoints New Leadership at Gilbert Campus

Park University has announced the appointment of two new leaders at its Gilbert Campus. Sue Wilcox and Ben Zibers have taken up the roles of Vice President and Associate Vice President respectively, as of April 1, 2020.

Sue Wilcox, the new Vice President of the Gilbert Campus, will work closely with the University’s Office of Academic Affairs, focusing on academic delivery and program expansion. Prior to joining Park University, Wilcox served as the Director of Information Technology Enterprise Architecture and Project Management Office at Webster University. She joined Park University in March 2018 as Senior Director of Project Management within the Office of Information Technology Services on the University’s flagship Parkville (Mo.) Campus. Wilcox holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from St. Louis University.

In her role as Vice President, Wilcox will lead strategic growth and operations of the Gilbert Campus. Her responsibilities include market development, community relations, enrollment growth, student services, student academic support, student engagement, and athletic program development and growth.

Ben Zibers, the new Associate Vice President of the Gilbert Campus, joined the Gilbert Campus in September 2019 as its Senior Director for Enrollment and Student Services. Prior to moving to Gilbert, Zibers had been in the Parkville Campus’ Office of Student Life since 2011. Most recently, he held the position of Director for Student Engagement in the Parkville Campus’ Office of Student Life for four years.

Zibers is responsible for leading all aspects of the student lifecycle. He also focuses on strategic academic partnerships and academic delivery. His responsibilities include enrollment growth, student life, student enrollment, retention, and experiences. Zibers earned both a Master of Public Affairs degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Park University.

Zibers has spent his entire professional career at Park University. He is committed to leading the development and execution of operations and initiatives with a focus on student enrollment, retention, and experiences.

The Gilbert Campus of Park University has two new leadership positions filled, marking a significant step in the growth and development of the campus. As the University continues to expand, these appointments will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Park University’s Gilbert Campus.
