Neuwied daycare staff unite to sharpen child protection strategies
A recent training event near me in Neuwied brought together daycare professionals to strengthen child protection measures. Organised by Anke Dierdorf and Lena Dielmann, the main event focused on improving safety strategies in municipal kindergartens. Staff from various roles attended, including educators, cleaners, and parent representatives.
The event took place at the Metropol Kino, supported by Sabine Weiler and her team. Hannah Wolf, a trainer from Fokus Team, led interactive discussions on child protection challenges. She provided practical suggestions for pedagogical work and encouraged participants to reflect on their personal attitudes.
The aim was to refine existing protection policies and promote a more mindful approach to safeguarding. Topics included institutional safeguarding and the role of staff in recognising and responding to risks. Attendees engaged in exercises designed to deepen their understanding of child safety protocols.
The training equipped daycare staff with updated strategies for child protection. Organisers hope the session will lead to stronger safeguarding practices across Neuwied’s municipal kindergartens. Further details on participating locations were not disclosed.
