NEET UG 2025 Round 3 counselling opens with tight deadlines ahead

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened registration for NEET UG 2025 Round 3 counselling. Candidates can now apply for medical and dental seats across India. The process includes strict deadlines for registration, payment, and document verification. Registration for Round 3 began on 29th September and will close on 5th October 2025. During this period, applicants must also fill and lock their college preferences between 30th September and 5th October. The payment window for the counselling fee remains open until 3:00 PM / 11:55 PM on 5th October.

Participating institutes will verify the tentative seat matrix on 27th and 28th September. The final seat allotment results will then be announced on 8th October. Candidates who secure a seat must report to their allotted college between 9th and 17th October.

Document verification at the respective colleges will take place from 20th to 25th October. Applicants must bring their NEET UG 2025 Admit Card, Scorecard, Class 10 and 12 certificates, a valid photo ID, and eight passport-size photographs. Among the available seats, Shri Guru Ram Rai Medical Institute of Medical Sciences and Gautam Buddha Chiktsa Mahavidayalaya in Dehradun offer the highest number of NRI quota seats—15% each—under private university admissions, as per Uttarakhand government notifications dated 12th September 2025.

The MCC will conclude Round 3 counselling on 5th October 2026. Candidates must complete each step within the given deadlines to secure their seats. Those allotted a college will need to verify their documents in person by 25th October. The counselling process will then move to subsequent rounds if seats remain vacant.
