Münster's Free Parent Evenings: Navigating School Life Challenges

Münster’s School Psychological Counseling Service is hosting a series of free parent evenings in October and November. These events aim to support parents in navigating various aspects of their children's school life, from academic challenges to personal development.

Kicking off the series on October 30, two parent evenings will be held. The first focuses on helping elementary school children overcome math difficulties, while the second offers strategies for frustration-free learning with primary school children. On November 5, a regional event titled 'Just Do Something for School! – Take It Easy!' will provide guidance on balancing expectations and support.

Later in the month, on November 19 and 20, experts will delve into helping children develop healthy self-confidence and providing support for those facing reading and spelling difficulties. Additionally, on November 21, managing homework routines with primary school children will be discussed. Parents can also look forward to guidance on supporting children during the transition to secondary school on November 6, although the specific experts for this event have not been announced.

These parent evenings, held at no cost to attendees, cover a wide range of topics related to school life. They provide an excellent opportunity for parents to gain insights and practical advice from experts, ensuring they can better support their children's academic and personal growth.
