Katelyn Wittman recently completed her master’s degree in mass media management while juggling a full-time job and motherhood. To mark the achievement, she travelled over 1,500 miles from Las Vegas to attend her graduation in person at Arkansas State University.

Wittman earned her degree online through the Hochschule Macromedia in Munich, specialising in mass media management. Despite the distance, she was determined to celebrate the milestone with her family by her side.

She currently teaches high school broadcasting and video production but has set her sights on a new goal. Wittman now aims to transition into higher education, hoping to secure a teaching position at university level.

Her journey to graduation was far from ordinary. Balancing coursework with a demanding career and the arrival of her son, she managed to finish her studies without compromise. The long trip to Arkansas ensured her family and child could witness her walk across the stage.

Wittman’s graduation marks the end of a challenging but rewarding chapter. With her degree complete, she plans to shift from high school teaching to a role in collegiate education. Her dedication has already set an example for her students—and now, her family saw it firsthand.
