Military Musical Spectacular 'Heroes' Dazzles Crowds at Horse Guards Parade

The Household Division Military Musical Spectacular, titled Heroes, took place from 15th to 17th July 2025 at Horse Guards Parade. Over 250 performers came together for an evening of ceremonial grandeur, music, and star power. HRH The Princess Royal attended as the guest of honour, marking the event’s significance.

The spectacle featured the Massed Bands of the Household Division alongside the Duchess of Edinburgh’s String Orchestra and Massed Pipes and Drums. Soldiers from the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery also joined the performances, adding to the event’s military prestige.

Guest artists Hugh Bonneville and Matt Goss took to the stage, with Goss performing his new charity single *Not Forgotten*—a tribute to those who serve. The evening blended tradition with entertainment, showcasing Britain’s rich heritage while supporting the Household Division Charity, which aids service personnel and their families. Separately, the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace celebrated its 200th anniversary with a special display of horse-drawn state coaches and cars. This added another layer of historical significance to the week’s festivities.

The event left audiences with a powerful tribute to British traditions and the dedication of service members. Proceeds from Heroes will directly benefit the Household Division Charity, ensuring continued support for military families. The combination of music, ceremony, and star performances made for an unforgettable occasion.
