Statewide Exam Helpline Starting Monday - Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania launches scholar helpline for mid-year report stress
A dedicated scholar support helpline will assist students, parents, and guardians in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania during the mid-year report card period. The service runs from February 2 to 13, 2026, offering guidance on academic performance and emotional challenges. Operated by the Integrated Control Centre Rostock (ILS Rostock), it aims to ease stress around school results.
The helpline will be open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an additional day of support on February 7. This schedule ensures access before, during, and after the official report card release on February 6.
School psychologists will staff the service, providing help for those struggling with disappointment, anxiety, or family tensions. They will also advise students on improving grades and addressing knowledge gaps.
The initiative reflects a broader effort to support mental well-being and academic progress in the region. By offering professional guidance, the helpline seeks to make the report card period less overwhelming for families.
The helpline closes on February 13, after two weeks of operation. Students and parents can use the service to discuss concerns, receive study tips, or find emotional support. The programme highlights the region's commitment to accessible educational assistance.
