Masai School Raises $2.5M for Tech Education Expansion
Masai School, an alternative education startup focusing on tech aspirants, has raised USD 2.5 million in a Pre-series A funding round. The company, founded in June 2019, aims to enhance its education programs and prepare students for future jobs with the help of this funding.
Masai School offers training in Full Stack Web and Android Development. It has seen remarkable success, with over 82% of its graduates securing placements, earning an average starting salary of INR 6.6 LPA. The company uses an Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) model, allowing students to pay for the course after securing a job.
The funding round was led by Unitus Ventures and joined by India Quotient & AngelList India. Masai School plans to use this funding to expand its offerings and become a higher education alternative, catering to both students and working professionals. The company aims to enable the dreams of 1000+ learners in the next 12 months, building on its current success.
Masai School, founded by Prateek Shukla, Nrupul Dev, and Yogesh Bhat, has proven its potential in the alternative education sector. With its innovative ISA model and high placement rates, the company looks set to expand its offerings and impact more learners in the coming months.
