Maquoketa Valley Spanish Teacher Named Iowa Regional Teacher of the Year
Jennifer Ries, a Spanish teacher at Maquoketa Valley High School, has been named one of nine 'Iowa Regional Teachers of the Year'. She is now in the running for Iowa's 2026 Teacher of the Year.
